Six Strangers Test: Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to the Six Strangers Test provided by White Leaf Consultancy Ltd, trading as Buyable (“we”, “us” and “our”).

White Leaf Consultancy Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales with company number 14601791. Our registered office is at White Leaf Consultancy Ltd, 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

This service is for business customers only. By ordering, you confirm that you are purchasing for business purposes and have authority to act for the business named in your order.

1. The Six Strangers Test

The Six Strangers Test gives you independent feedback on a webpage from six people who have no connection to your business.

We ask each participant:

1. What do you think this business sells?
2. Who do you think it is for?
3. What would you expect to gain?
4. What makes you trust or doubt the proposition?
5. What do you think it costs, and how would you buy it?
6. What questions would you need answered before taking the next step?

We review the responses and email you a written report. It will show what strangers understood, where they were uncertain and what may be making your proposition harder to buy.

The service is a perception test, not a guarantee of sales, conversion rate, revenue, business performance or any other outcome.

We will use reasonable efforts to select participants who broadly align with the target audience you describe. However, the Six Strangers Test uses a broad consumer panel rather than specifically recruited research participants.

This means we cannot guarantee that every participant will precisely match your ideal customer profile, industry, circumstances or purchasing behaviour. The service is designed to provide a useful cold-traffic perspective, not a statistically representative or tightly controlled research sample.

2. Price and payment

The price is $320 per webpage. No VAT is charged.

Payment is due in full when you place your order. We will not begin the test until payment has been received and you have provided a working webpage URL.

Each order covers one webpage only. If you would like more than one page tested, each page must be purchased separately.

3. What you need to provide

You must provide:

• the URL of the specific webpage you would like tested; and
• a valid email address for delivery of your report.

Please check that the URL is correct and publicly accessible. We cannot test pages behind a login, password, paywall or technical restriction unless we have agreed this with you in advance.

If the webpage is unavailable, inaccessible or materially different from the URL you supplied, we may contact you for a replacement URL. This may affect the delivery date.

4. Delivery

Your report will be emailed within 48 hours of receiving your paid order and a working webpage URL, except for orders placed after 9am UK time on Friday or over the weekend. These will be delivered by Tuesday.

If you order tests for more than three webpages, we will confirm the delivery timescale by email after receiving your order.

If a delay arises outside our reasonable control, such as a technical problem with the webpage or an issue with the research panel, we will let you know as soon as possible and give you an updated delivery date.

5. Cancellation rights

This service is sold to business customers only. Because you are purchasing for your business, trade, craft or profession, the 14-day consumer cancellation period does not apply.

We begin work as soon as your payment is received and you have provided a working webpage URL.

To cancel, email contact@becomebuyable.com with your name, order details and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

6. Refunds

If we cannot complete the test because the webpage is inaccessible or unavailable, and you do not provide a suitable replacement URL, we will issue a full refund.

If you cancel before we have begun work on your test, we will issue a full refund.

If you cancel after we have begun work, no refund is due unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Once we have completed the test and sent your report, the service has been delivered. A refund is not due simply because you disagree with, dislike or choose not to act on the feedback.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill.

7. Research panel and confidentiality

We may use a third-party research platform to recruit the six independent participants.

We will provide participants with access to the webpage you ask us to test. We will not ask them to contact you, your customers or anyone connected with your business.

We may use anonymised findings, themes and examples from completed tests to improve our method or explain our services. We will not identify you, your business or your webpage without your permission.

8. Your report

Your report is for your own internal business use. It reflects the views of six independent people at a particular point in time. It is intended to help you identify issues with clarity, credibility and friction in the buying experience.

It is not legal, financial, regulatory, accessibility, advertising or professional advice. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to act on the feedback, and for ensuring that any changes you make comply with applicable laws and regulations.

You may not reproduce, publish, sell or distribute the report, in whole or in part, without our written permission, except for sharing it internally with people working in your business or advisers acting for you.

9. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to this, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, sales, business opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings.

Our total liability arising from a Six Strangers Test will not exceed the amount you paid for that test.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with the service, please email contact@becomebuyable.com with your order details and an explanation of the issue. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those published on our website when you place it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law allows you to bring a claim in another part of the UK.
