Buyable Services: Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 9 September 2026

These terms apply to the consulting services provided by White Leaf Consultancy Ltd, trading as Buyable (“we”, “us” and “our”).

White Leaf Consultancy Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales with company number 14601791. Our registered office is at White Leaf Consultancy Ltd, 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.

These terms apply to:

  • Buyable Proposition Refinement;
  • Buyable Experience Analysis; and
  • Conversion Consultancy.

By purchasing a service, accepting a proposal or confirming that you would like us to begin work, you agree to these terms.

These services are for business customers only. By ordering, you confirm that you are purchasing for business purposes and have authority to act for the business named in your order.

1. The services

Buyable helps expert-led businesses make their proposition and buying experience clearer, more credible and easier for cold traffic to act on.

The service you purchase, its scope, price, included deliverables and anticipated timetable will be set out on the relevant service page, proposal, checkout page or order confirmation.

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill.

2. What is included

Buyable Proposition Refinement

This service is designed to clarify and strengthen your core proposition. It may include a diagnostic interview, an online proposition workshop, written workshop findings and agreed core proposition wording.

Buyable Experience Analysis

This service is designed to identify where the current buying experience creates uncertainty or friction. It may include independent customer feedback, analysis of the buying journey and prioritised redesign recommendations.

Conversion Consultancy

Conversion Consultancy is an ongoing engagement providing senior conversion help for your business. It may include research, proposition clarity work, buying journey improvements and validation of changes.

It includes the elements set out on the Conversion Consultancy service page and in your proposal or order confirmation. Unless expressly agreed in writing, it does not include website development, copywriting, design, advertising spend, software subscriptions or the direct implementation of recommendations.

3. Price and payment

The price for each service is shown on the relevant service page or in your proposal. No VAT is charged.

Payment terms will be shown at checkout, on your invoice or in your order confirmation.

For a fixed-price service, payment is due in full before we begin work unless we agree otherwise in writing.

For Conversion Consultancy, payments are due monthly in advance, unless your order confirmation states otherwise.

If payment is late, we may pause work until the outstanding amount has been paid. This may affect the timetable.

4. Starting the work and delivery times

For business customers, we will agree a start date once payment has been received and we have the information needed to begin.

Any delivery dates or timescales are estimates unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing. They depend on you providing timely access, information, feedback and attendance at scheduled sessions.

If your delay affects the timetable, we may need to move delivery dates. We will let you know and agree a revised timetable where possible.

5. Your responsibilities

To enable us to provide the service, you agree to:

  • provide accurate and complete information relevant to the work;
  • give us access to the relevant webpages, documents, data and systems where agreed;
  • ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions to share any material with us;
  • attend agreed workshops or meetings, or give reasonable notice if you need to rearrange;
  • provide feedback, approvals and decisions within the timescales we agree; and
  • remain responsible for the accuracy, legality and compliance of your business, website, claims and marketing.

We are not responsible for delays or incomplete work caused by missing information, unavailable access or delayed feedback.

6. Meetings and rescheduling

If you need to rearrange a scheduled workshop or meeting, please give at least two working days’ notice where possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative time. Repeated cancellations, missed sessions or substantial delays may require the project timetable to be revised.

7. Changes to scope

The agreed scope is the scope described on the relevant service page, proposal or order confirmation.

If you ask us to carry out work outside that scope, we will tell you what is involved and, where appropriate, provide a separate quote or agree an additional fee and timetable before beginning it.

8. Cancellation and refunds

These services are sold to business customers only. Because you are purchasing for your business, trade, craft or profession, the 14-day consumer cancellation period does not apply.

We begin work as soon as your payment is received.

If you cancel before we have begun work, we will issue a full refund. If you cancel after we have begun work, no refund is due unless we agree otherwise in writing.

To cancel, email contact@becomebuyable.com with your name, order details and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

9. Outcomes and guarantees

Our work is intended to help you make better-informed decisions about your proposition and buying experience. Except for the Six Strangers Clarity Guarantee below, we cannot guarantee sales, conversion rate, revenue, profit, customer acquisition, business growth or any other commercial outcome.

The Six Strangers Clarity Guarantee

The Six Strangers Clarity Guarantee applies only to the Conversion Consultancy engagement.

At the end of the engagement, we will ask six fresh potential customers to assess the improved journey. At least five of the six must be able to explain:

  • what you sell;
  • who it is for;
  • the value it provides; and
  • what they need to do next.

If fewer than five participants can do this, we will continue refining the agreed journey at no additional cost until the standard is met.

The guarantee applies only to the proposition and journey agreed during the engagement. It does not cover new products, services, webpages, audiences, claims or business changes introduced after the agreed journey has been finalised.

The guarantee does not include third-party costs, including website development, design, copywriting, advertising spend, software subscriptions or changes implemented by people other than us. It does not guarantee that visitors will buy, or any particular commercial result.

10. Your materials and confidential information

You retain ownership of the materials, information and assets you provide to us.

We will use them only to provide the service, unless you give us permission to use them in another way or we are legally required to disclose them.

We may use anonymised insights, themes and learnings from our work to improve our methods or explain our services. We will not identify you or your business without your permission.

11. Our work and intellectual property

We retain ownership of our methods, frameworks, templates, processes and pre-existing materials, including the Buyable Model.

Once you have paid all fees due, you may use the final deliverables we provide for your own internal business purposes.

You may not sell, license, publish, distribute or create a competing product or service from our materials, methods or deliverables without our written permission.

12. Third-party tools and services

We may recommend or use third-party platforms, research tools or software where appropriate. Their availability, terms, performance and security are outside our control.

Unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing, you are responsible for any third-party costs, subscriptions, licences or implementation work.

13. Advice and compliance

Our services are consultancy services. They are not legal, financial, tax, regulatory, accessibility, advertising or professional advice.

You remain responsible for ensuring that your website, marketing, proposition, customer journey and business practices comply with all applicable laws, regulations and industry requirements.

14. Limitation of liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to this, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, sales, business opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings.

Our total liability arising from a service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service.

15. Complaints

If you are unhappy with the service, please email contact@becomebuyable.com with your order details and an explanation of the issue. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your service are those published when you place your order or accept our proposal.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law allows you to bring a claim in another part of the UK.
